My Master List of Alternative Ways to Earn College Credits

June 11, 2017

Over the years I have acquired a running list of alternative ways to earn college credits- and the list keeps growing! Some are well-known, while others, not so much. Some credits are offered through different colleges, while others you need to set up an ACE account to transfer your scores into. Some may be ACE (The American Council on Education) accredited while others may be approved through NCCRS (The National College Credit Recommendation Service). As with all things, you need to do your research to see if these various avenues will work for your situation- and, of course, you should always check with your college of choice to verify if they will accept credits from these institutions. Remember, every college is different! I would love if any of you learn of something not on my list, to let me know so it can keep growing!
